The CommSec Data and Insights Centre of Excellence (COE) is a central Data and Analytics function under the Pace model that supports the delivery of Data and Analytics offerings and services at Pace. The COE's mission is to provide trusted data, capabilities and actionable insights in partnership with our stakeholders to drive customer experience, empower decision making and safeguard our data.
The Insights and Decision Science Chapter within the COE is responsible for CommSec's Insights and Analytics functions. The team supports the strategic decision-making process of the business by way of regular reporting, ad hoc analysis, insights and data science models.
This role will mainly be working with the Engagement and Personalisation (E&P) COE, the CommSec Personalised Marketing Centre of Excellence. This includes working with the E&P COE to provide marketing and remediation campaign data, complete post campaign analysis and deep dives.
Key responsibilities:
Using SQL/Alteryx - design, prepare and build dataset that delivers targeted customer details and key data points for campaigns including remediation and marketing programs.
Support wide range of internal stakeholders with timely and accurate data and insights for campaigns.
Manage/support any ongoing campaigns and perform quality assurance checks on colleague campaigns.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across both operational and performance aspect.

Proven experience as an Analyst in Financial Services industry.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work with large and complex data sets.
Excellent SQL (preferably Microsoft SQL Server, Teradata), Excel and Alteryx skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver on multiple activities (BAU, projects and initiatives) against competing priorities.
Influencing and consulting skills - the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
