Demonstrated experience working with APIs and designing small lightweight and reliable integrations between business systems
Analyze, design, document, publish and manage APIs in a secure environment.
Strong knowledge and experience across a broad array of technologies - particularly web applications, business systems, databases, and APIs
Real strength in at least one programming language - ideally Java / JavaScript
Demonstrated knowledge in various Integration Platforms, including webMethods and Dell Boomi.
Demonstrated experience in both SOA and Microservices patterns in integration architecture
Demonstrated experience in batch ETL and file based integrations across different platforms
Understanding of enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and data integration patterns including Pub/Sub Messaging, MFT, Event Driven Architecture, SOA, and iPaaS.
Exposure to working with Integration technologies such as HTTP Web Services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, GraphQL, FTP, SFTP, SMB.
Demonstrated experience in designing Integration solutions in a large, hybrid environment servicing a broad spectrum of diverse applications.
Good understanding of enterprise architecture and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Experience in working in Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
Familiar with agile principles and using related tools such as Jira Agile.
Solve integration issues that may arise during the initial integration, or as dependent platforms change.
Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and peers to refine business requirements and to ensure they are met
Contribute to the developer knowledge base
Perform identification/breakdown of development components and tasks, as well as estimations
Mentor and guide other developers as they work through development decisions
Excellent communication skills with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical specialists and project team members.

As an integration specialist your primary goal will be to optimise, connect, and automate a range of applications and services - both internal and SaaS.
Excellent understanding in how organisations use a range of services to meet their objectives, and you'll seek to connect them together in ways that enhance their value. The integrations you'll work with will be across finance, HR, commercial, and corporate systems. You'll develop solutions that are robust, safe, and reliable.
