About the role
Senior Developer Planning Systems to join the strategic mine planning team to develop systems to translate orebody knowledge into standardised mining data and enable this link to the overarching business value chain.
In this position you’ll:
Build our workflow, reporting and visualisation systems to take geology models through to mine plans;
Bring your experience with combined front-end and back-end development to build our strategic planning systems from scratch
Work with a modern toolset using cloud resources to build systems from proof of concept through to production in a devops environment
Support the strategic planning team by providing technical leadership and direction.
Work with the wider business to create and standardise the mine planning data systems.

Necessary skills and qualifications:
- Software development with Python, Typescript, Node, React and Cloud databases.
- Tertiary Qualification preferred - Computer Science or similar
- Amazon Web Service expertise
- Experience with statistics, optimisation and machine learning
- Exposure to geology and mine planning systems or other scientific environments preferred.
