About the role
Intelligence Services assists the Corrective Services Division of the Department of Justice to meet its mission by informing tactical, operational and strategic decisions in respect of security and safety. The Senior Intelligence Officer works closely with the Principal Intelligence Officer to ensure the proactive collection of information from a range of sources. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with demonstrated knowledge and experience in effectively planning and executing intelligence operations to:
- Oversee the planning and execution of complex intelligence operations in a custodial environment, including development of collection and operational plans.
- Provide advice and guidance to Field Intelligence Officers, and other Collection Branch staff, and oversee the provision of relevant intelligence information for analysis and dissemination purposes.
- Compile and disseminate Collection Branch intelligence product at a strategic and tactical level for internal and external stakeholders.
