Senior Interior Designer - High-End Residential

A boutique interior design firm is looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end residential projects. This studio specialises in heritage and residential design which aims to express their clients individuality through the spaces they use. You will be a confident all-rounder, with experience leading multiple projects from concept through to construction, collaborating with and reporting directly to the Director. If you are passionate about story-telling through design, this is the perfect role for you! 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and supervise Mid-Level Designer in preparing presentation documents
• Oversee tender documentation 
• Act as first point of contact for all trades, build team members, architects and design consultants
• Lead on-site visits

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design
• 6+ years experience in local high-end residential interiors
• Experience in leading a residential project from concept to final installation including communication with clients and build team
• Site experience with the ability to direct build teams and trades
• Sound knowledge of the BCA and documentation of intricate construction details
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD + Sketchup Preferred, Vectorworks candidates considered
• Advanced skills in Adobe Suite- InDesign, Photoshop
• Experience in Asana or similar project management software
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
