An exciting opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a large WA State Government organisation.
Your new company
A major State Government department based in East of Perth CBD is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join their team as a Level 6 as soon as possible. Initially, you will be engaged on a temporary contract for 3 months, working full-time hours and paid at a competitive hourly rate. There is a high likelihood for this temporary contract to be extended for another 3 months and the possibility to apply for their permanent role when advertised.
Your new role
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for:
- Undertake complex audits and investigations
- Assist in coordination of all internal audit activities
- Develop and maintain working papers and functions
- Contribute to Strategic Audit Plan
- Support Manager of Internal Audit
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate previous experience as an Internal Auditor, in addition to:
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot-tables, lookup functions etc.)
- Be analytically inclined and possess strategic thinking
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrate high levels of professionalism at all times
- Excellent attention to detail
