Senior Internal Communications Manager

Job Description:About the RoleThe Senior Internal Communications Manager will work closely with the HR team and will have one direct report. Your primary goal is to ensure that our organization's employees are well-connected, motivated, and aligned with the company's mission, vision, purpose, cause, values and goals.Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continually refine an Internal Communications strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and values.
• Produce engaging and informative content for various internal communication channels, such as: intranet, company meetings, townhalls, CEO updates and other relevant platforms.
• Develop clear and consistent messaging that conveys company news, policies, and updates effectively to all employees.
• Assist in crafting communication plans related to organizational changes, mergers, acquisitions, or other significant developments, ensuring a smooth transition for employees.
• Design and execute campaigns and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, motivation, and a sense of belonging within the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to craft and deliver messages that foster transparency and alignment with employees at all levels.
• Develop crisis communication plans and ensure a timely and appropriate response to internal crises or emergencies.
• Implement and manage feedback mechanisms to gauge employee satisfaction and sentiment towards Internal Communications efforts, making data-driven improvements as necessary.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in Internal Communications, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using various communication tools, technologies, and platforms.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in Internal Communications.
