About the role
As a senior leader within our Marketing & Communications team, you will establish an enterprise-wide communications program that will inform, engage and inspire our employees.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing communication strategies that enhance employee engagement, align with organisational objectives, and strengthen our corporate culture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create a unified and transparent communication approach that empowers employees at all levels.
You will have the ability to pioneer new and innovative ways to communicate that brings to life the corporate strategy, priorities and messages ensuring that our teams feel connected and engaged.
Key to the role is the ability to:
- Lead, develop and own the Internal Communications strategy with defined plans that align to our corporate strategy.
- Develop and execute a fun and engaging enterprise-wide communications approach, through a variety of innovative and creative communication vehicles.
- Lead the delivery of a change management programs at a Group level and across business units.
- Manage and craft content for all internal communication channels using multi-media formats.
- Partner with key stakeholders to drive our communications approach with our ESG strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and DE&I initiatives.
- Develop initiatives to enhance the EVP and People Strategy.
A bit about you
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- 8+ years’ experience within a communications management function, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing an enterprise-wide communications strategy within a large complex business to achieve cut through and impact on the corporate strategy.
- Provide innovative and creative examples of comms executions that established step changes in employee connection and action in relation to strategic objectives.
- Mandatory degree in communications or a business-related discipline.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to interact, influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
- Deep-level expertise in employee communications with flex to move between executive communications, events, editorial, blogs and other materials.
- Understand the fundamentals of change management to lead Group-wide organisational change communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience with communication platforms and utilising a digitalised approach. An eye for design but you don’t need to be a designer.
