Position Profile: The Child and Adolescent Health Service are seeking an outstanding individual to join our Learning and Development team.

The successful applicant will consult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop contemporary and impactful Learning and Development interventions.
You are a thought leader and an expert practitioner in your discipline. You are an excellent communicator with a proven track record of enhancing workforce capability in a complex organisation.

Reporting to the Manager Learning and Development, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Consultation with senior leaders, SME teams and other key stakeholders across CAHS to identify and support priority Learning and Development needs in all organisational areas.
  • Design and develop (non-clinical) organisational Learning and Development programs to respond to the needs identified though consultation and analysis.
  • Lead curriculum and delivery design by employing a range of strategies with contemporary adult learning principles, educational technologies, and recognised learning frameworks, with a focus on leadership and management development programs..
  • Lead and collaborate with CAHS senior leadership, and the wider Learning and Development network at CAHS to conduct an annual corporate learning needs analysis.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the CAHS corporate Learning and Development catalogue.
  • Establish and maintain effective networks and working relationships across the WA Health Service, to ensure effective collaboration in program development, application, and implementation.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is proud to be the leading service provider for paediatric healthcare in Western Australia, as the State’s only dedicated health service for infants, children and young people. CAHS is made up four service areas: Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH). Consisting of over 6,500 employees, our services are delivered at PCH and King Edward Memorial Hospital (KEMH), as well as across a network of more than 160 community clinics across the metropolitan area.
