YOUR ROLE
The Senior Learning Partner (SLP) is pivotal to coordinating regional partnerships and delivery in their region, by fostering a consistent and inclusive approach to learning and teaching enablement, translating system-wide priorities through localised delivery. Operating as an education industry generalist with potential specialisation in the incumbent’s individual experience base, the SLP leverages system expertise to drive targeted, consistent best practices and shared learning across their MACS regional Learning Partner cohort. They serve as a key connector of individuals, teams and broader MACS resources, facilitating important coordination and integration between Centres of Expertise (Coe), regional delivery partners, and the schools they serve. They facilitate excellence in service delivery, minimise process duplication and inefficiencies both regionally and at the CoE team level and manage the effectiveness of communication channels with schools and school leaders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the regional leadership team and in-region Learning Partners with building localised school capability and capacity through effective service delivery and managing and implementing change through the support of CoE aligned strategic workplans and projects
- Coordinate and coach the regionally based Learning Partners from an ‘on the ground’ program delivery perspective, while remaining alive to each CoE functional leaders’ strategic programs and priorities they take responsibility for; support CoE functional leaders in their line management accountabilities of regional based Learning Partners
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration mediums between different teams to ensure cohesive implementation of learning strategies
- Implement improvements and drive a continual improvement mentality among SLP peers and other regional colleagues, using initiative as well as proactive and collaborative ways of working to result in high performing regional teams and school leaders who feel supported to deliver an exceptional, holistic education to students
- Anticipate and understand the needs of a broad range of professionals, including but not limited to: specialist educational professionals, school leaders, parents and families, and allied-health professionals
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in planning and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and prevent some issues from developing through proactive case management
- Strong understanding of school operations in both Catholic Primary and Secondary schools
- Proven ability to present and facilitate to senior stakeholders in an engaging manner
- Demonstrated ability to influence key partners and leaders toward optimal outcomes, building and maintaining relationships with trust and integrity, providing expert advice and engagement of new approaches to lead successful and consistent service delivery via support staff in the regions
- Demonstrated experience with multi-disciplinary stakeholder management and collaborative practice, including the ability to influence these stakeholder groups for positive outcomes and service delivery
Remuneration is commensurate with skills and experience
