About the Opportunity:
Drive leasing performance of the property portfolio by securing quality tenants, negotiating favourable lease terms, and coordinating closely with stakeholders as our new Senior Leasing Executive.
Conduct market research and implement effective marketing strategies to enhance occupancy rates and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Leasing Management Properties
- Research market trends providing regular reports for Leasing Team Analysis
- Coordinate and prepare all marketing and advertising
- Prepare leasing and marketing submissions aimed at securing new business
- Liaise with Landlords on interest, campaign, leads and advertising
- Lease properties in line with strategies
- Maintain leasing tracker spreadsheets
- Assist in prep of Heads of Agreements and Disclosure Statements
- Work with Director of Leasing attending all relevant meetings
- Develop and implement strategies to generate and secure new leasing business and where possible convert into management or agency
- Liaise with potential new tenants handling all enquiries and inspections
- Negotiate lease terms on behalf of landlords
- Liaise with Solicitors and Legal Reps in prep for formal documentation
- Comply with all Retail Leases Act requirements
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Knowledge and adequate experience from working in a real estate role
- High competency in Microsoft Office with proficient use of Excel
- Experience in building relationships with potential clients via cold calls, networking and other avenues
- Sound understanding of current trends and consumer requirements
- Ability to generate ideas for business improvement
- Persistent approach to time management
- Natural service disposition – “a can-do attitude"
- Comfortable with commission income environment
- Bachelor of Property or similar degree highly regarded
- Real Estate Certificate in Victoria (and other states)
- Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure improvement
- Demonstrated track record of sales success
- Valid driver's license
