Senior Leasing Officer - GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT 12month contract
1st July 2024 -30 June 2025
We need a Senior Leasing Officer with recent experience in commercial leasing or contract management to join our clients dynamic team.
This role involves developing and implementing property strategies to drive sustainable commercial outcomes and contribute to long-term portfolio asset planning and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering the department’s strategic property portfolio, including lease acquisitions, management, and disposals.
- Undertake property lease negotiations, acquisitions, and divestments.
- Develop leasing strategies to support asset management priorities and property efficiencies.
- Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence to support property-related decisions.
- Maintain leasing data to ensure contract compliance and optimization of the property portfolio.
- Undertake procurements to support leasing, acquisitions, divestments, and property-related activities.
- Collaborate with the department’s Property Service Provider on leasing activities.
- Contribute to developing and implementing frameworks, policies, and guidelines within the Property and Security Branch.
- Provide strategic advice and assistance to Senior Executives and stakeholders.
- Engage and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities and achieve outcomes.
- Improve business management practices and processes.

Knowledge Required:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, and associated rules.
- Familiarity with the Commonwealth Property Management Framework.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Baseline security clearance required

- Western Australia (WA) or Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
