About the role
The Institute of Health and Wellbeing offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in exercise and sports science, nursing, midwifery, paramedicine, psychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, public health, speech pathology, work health and safety, and research.
As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of units within psychology predominantly at graduate levels. You will also supervise students undertaking psychology placements within FedCare psychology Services.
You will:
- Undertake teaching and assessment of postgraduate students within the area of Clinical Psychology.
- Undertake administrative and research activities.
- Participate in team project and various committee meetings.
About you
You will have experience in lecturing and tutoring, as well as a commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching with the ability to develop and implement a student-centred approach with a focus on student educational experience and success. You will work collegially and possess preparedness to undertake research.
You will possess:
- Commitment to scholarship and a potential for academic advancement.
- Demonstrated commitment to and enthusiasm for teaching, and a good teaching record.
- Previous experience in academic administration, including the administration of units.
Evidence of experience of in the administration, scoring and interpretation of cognitive assessment using the Weschler Scales.
