Competitive Senior Legal Counsel - Energy & InfrastructureI have partnered with a leading infrastructure developer here in Australia who develop, invest and manage infrastructure and renewable energy assets around Australia.They are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with 10+ years PQE and strong experience and background in Energy to join the growing legal team where you will work across the full lifecycle of the project from the origination and development process all the way through to operations.As a successful candidate you will have experience coming from a similar industry within energy working across multiple energy projects where you have worked both on your own initiative and closely with the legal team.You will have experience:

• Leading and advising in relation to the legal workstream on energy projects from early stage development through to operations.
• Working closely with the project finance and technical teams to drive transaction deliverables consistent with project timelines
• Managing, drafting and/or reviewing legal documents and overseeing external lawyers.
• Identifying key project commercial and legal risks and preparing proposed solutions
• Managing project budgets in relation to the legal workstream
• Attending and providing support for internal review and approval processes
