You will be involved in:
- Managing all legal aspects of the business;
- Maintaining all compliance & regulatory requirements;
- Handling and promoting all health, safety and environment objectives and policies;
- Drafting, amending and negotiating all commercial contracts;
- Administering and managing the contract database;
- Liasing with external law firms; and
- Supporting overseas legal requirements when needed.
- Senior corporate counsel (8+ years PQE) with experience advising large corporate organisations ideally involved in the resources sector (mining, oil, gas etc); with
- The ability to work autonomously as well as engage collaboratively with key stakeholders globally; and
- Currently working for a major law firm or an in-house legal team of a large corporation.
- Attractive salary package (+STI/LTI)
- Domestic (QLD & WA) travel might be required
- Member of the senior leadership team
- Autonomy and access to decision makers – General Manager, Finance Manager, and CEO
