Position Overview:

As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the financial processes that support strategic decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide critical financial insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure the company's financial health is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

   • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support Senior Management in decision-making.
   • Prepare accurate and timely budgets and forecasts.

2. Strategic Planning:

   • Collaborate with Senior Management to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals.
   • Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and reducing costs.

3. Process Optimisation:

   • Continuously review and enhance financial processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
   • Implement best practices to streamline financial reporting and analysis.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
   • Act as a liaison between finance and other business units.
5. Profit and Loss Preparation
   • Identify and record all sources of revenue generated by the business.
   • Categorise and allocate all costs and expenses incurred by the business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field & CPA or CA certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a mining related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in financial modeling and analysis tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
