Role Details
The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Senior Manager to join on a full-time term basis to lead the development and implementation of Data, Information and Analytics solutions.
The role is responsible for:
- Leading and managing the strategic design, delivery and maintenance of the data, Information and Analytics capability to support the Department's priorities.
- Providing vision and leadership to enhance the maturity of the business intelligence, data and analytic capability across the Department and contribute to its continued evolution to a data driven organisation from data to drive performance and quality.
- Ensuring compliance with information governance and records management regulations and standards, and maintaining all necessary documentation and records.
- Providing expert advice to the Chief Information Officer and key stakeholders to inform key ICT & Information Management decisions pertaining to data and Analytics.
About You
We are looking for a confident individual with outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Proven ability and experience leading change, building and motivating a team to achieve well communicated expectations will be essential.
You will be outcome driven with proven experience leading and managing projects involving data and Analytics strategy, information management and data governance.
To be successful in this role you will have a deep understanding of the IT industry and the implications of emerging technologies for the wider business environment.
