The Role

Excellent opportunity to join our Rhombus Advisory Brand in the position of Senior Manager, Finance and Revenue. In this role you will lead the Finance and Revenue function. You will be responsible for Financial and regulatory reporting for legal entities within the Rhombus Advisory business to support the day-to-day running of the business and ensure all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations for the relevant legal entities are met. This includes managing the relationship with external accounting partners to ensure the delivery of agreed outsourced services. You will deliver on all revenue administration related services, including Licensee and Adviser payments. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control, as well as taking ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditures to ensure all statutory and regulatory reporting obligations are met.
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial performance in line with agreed targets, including ongoing management of financial risks and opportunities for the business.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external market and stakeholders to ensure Rhombus Advisory is across relevant business issues and financial/regulatory implications are understood and actioned appropriately.
• Provide strong financial SME knowledge, strategic insights and analysis for the business, including input into strategic initiatives, ensuring the financial impacts are captured in forecasts and 3 Year Plans on an ongoing basis.
• Manage and lead the delivery of revenue administration services, incl Licensee and fund revenue processing ensuring timely and accurate revenue payments to advisers and licensees.
• Lead and manage the team to resolve revenue related queries, deliver revenue analysis and timely and accurate reporting.

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Solid understanding of Finance within an AFSL
• Exposure to technology and software applications in particular Xplan/CommPay is highly regarded
• Passion for leading a small team
• Ability to build relationships at all levels
• Solid understanding of Finance within and AFSL
• CA/CPA Qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Financial Management

This position is a role within the newly established Rhombus Advisory business. We anticipate that Rhombus Advisory will separate from Insignia Financial (IFL) to become a stand-alone business around July 2024. The successful candidate will transfer their employment to Rhombus Advisory when IFL sells the majority share of its ownership of Rhombus Advisory (precise date will be confirmed in due course) and will be issued relevant entity transfer documentation upon appointment.
