The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage consolidated Financial Reporting for the group, including monthly Financial Reporting and all statutory Financial Reporting within tight deadlines
- Ownership of multi-national monthly management reporting, including providing detailed analysis
- Preparation of half-year and year-end reporting, workpapers and reconciliations
- Provide analysis to support unit pricing, margin, transfer pricing and inventory costing
- Actively manage and improve key monthly processes, to deliver high quality consolidated financial data.
- Inventory management, stocktake oversight and inventory obsolescence review
- Manage taxation function
The Ideal PersonOur client is targeting an experienced commercial financial accountant or a Senior Manager / Manager from Big 4 (ideally external audit). You will be highly motivated, commercially oriented and with a pragmatic and reliable common-sense approach to new problems and situations.
A strong technical understanding of accounting standards and their application to large businesses is critical to success in the role with quarterly audit reviews. Your reputation is as an all-rounder given your strong technical skills combined with well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Due to the nature of work, Australian Citizens will only be considered for this opportunity as you will be required to obtain an AGVSA security clearance.
