Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.A bit about your roleThe purpose of the Group Risk, Resilience & Privacy function is to enable the business to navigate uncertainty, manage complex risks and adapt and thrive when managing disruption events and crises.Working within the Strategic Services Group as part of the Group Risk, Resilience & Privacy function, the Senior Manager – Group Risk will be accountable for being a trusted advisor to senior management in the Technology, Security and Networks space, and a risk leader to nbn’s broader risk community.This is a leadership role, with the Senior Manager, Group Risk responsible for partnering with their Business Unit portfolio to ensure key strategic, operational, and emerging risks are managed, driving a strong proactive risk culture and a commercially focussed risk management approach as well as providing technical expertise, coaching and advice to the business. The Senior Manager, Group Risk will also be the technology SME within the Group Risk Team, managing and promoting our company wide GRC system, as well as contributing to the Group Risk Uplift Program.As a national critical infrastructure owner and operator, effective and innovative risk management is fundamental to the purpose of nbn and success of the business. The Senior Manager, Group Risk will be pivotal in driving the continuous improvement in commercial, value-adding risk management practices delivered by the team. The role is responsible for the effective delivery and execution of the risk management strategy across the company and leading the improvement of risk management practices, culture, and performance throughout nbn.A bit about youIf this role sounds like a good match for you, it’s likely that you’ll have strong experience and technological background in corporate risk management advisory roles or professional services, backed by relevant qualifications in risk management, security risk management, corporate governance, law, or commerce. Any experience in critical infrastructure or telecommunications, and technology or security risk is highly regarded.As an exceptional team player and communicator, you will have the natural ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, building strong successful partnerships. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, excellent written and presentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
