SENIOR MANAGER TALENT AND SUCCESSION - PEOPLE & CULTURE DIVISION | SYDNEY, NSW

  • Leading the design, implementation, and evaluation of AAL's Talent Management approach to support the achievement of Allianz's business strategy, People and Culture strategy, and strengthen the target culture and People Attributes.
  • Partnering and coaching with people and culture business partners and senior leaders to support optimized planning and execution of the annual cycle and effective identification, mobilization, and development of talent. Leading the delivery of Executive Development Centres, in partnership with external vendors.
  • Continually strengthening talent development and Succession plans, identifying gaps through consultation and collaboration with Talent Acquisition, Global Talent Brokering teams, and Development teams.
  • Partnering with the Head of Talent Management in the preparation and submission of talent updates for the Senior Management team and board, including the management submission of Key Talent and data in HRIS.
  • Driving continuous improvement across the management of talent data, analysis, reporting, and insights, ensuring Allianz Group standards and timeframes are achieved, while representing Allianz Australia to global talent management forums and providing feedback to our global People Central of Excellence to influence process, tools, and strategy.
About you:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Change Management) with experience in talent management, succession planning, and organizational development in a large, matrixed organization. Strong program management skills and a proven track record of delivering large-scale talent initiatives.
  • Ability to transition effectively between strategy and execution, identifying, analysing, and assessing risks inherent to the business and putting in place appropriate controls/actions to manage risks for future sustainability.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Proven ability to utilize technology platforms such as SuccessFactors and Workday to create internal efficiencies and drive a great Talent and Succession experience for all stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with senior audiences with clarity, impact, influence, and translating data into executive and board-level insights. Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
