We are hiring a Senior Manager, Translational Research to join our team at Bio 21 Institute. You will develop and implement Translational Research project objectives focused on mechanism of action studies, biomarker discovery and development, target validation/expression and indication selection in the Immunology or Respiratory research areas.
You will supervise a small team of scientists and will contribute to the development and implementation of Immunology or Respiratory Therapeutic Area (TA) strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Translational Research you will:
- Design and implement in vitro and ex vivo studies to investigate the mechanism of action of disease(s) and lead therapeutic candidates.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across multiple CSL functions including clinical teams and pre-clinical researchers in the Immunology/Respiratory TA to provide studies to support biomarker strategy, target validation and indication selection, including writing project proposals, research plans, and research agreements.
- Help write investigator brochures, regulatory submissions, clinical study reports
- Provide Research input into early phase NPO due diligence process.
- Build external academic, clinical and industry networks relevant to Immunology or Respiratory TA.
Your Experience:
- PhD in discipline relevant to Immunology or Respiratory research areas.
- Minimum 10 years academic or early clinical research industry experience relevant to Immunology or Respiratory TA.
- Track record in the development and conduct of high-quality research activity relevant to Immunology or Respiratory TA.
- Experience in translation of research outcomes into early clinical development.
