With continued high growth and a significant and varied pipeline of engagements, the BDO Melbourne Corporate Finance team are seeking to appoint a Valuations Senior Manager to join the team. Your new opportunity
With a focus on the mid-market, the team provides a broad range of Corporate Finance to an array of industries. In your new role you will:
- Interact directly with senior management of our clients
- Perform valuations including:
- Business valuations
- Equity valuations
- Purchase price allocations
- Derivatives (including share based payments)
- Infrastructure valuations
- Independent Experts Reports
- Collaboratively managing the team and delivering quality outcomes for our clients
- Mentor and train junior staff members
- Be actively involved in business development, as well as cultivating long-term client relationships
- Develop and manage divisional strategic tasks.
What you’ll bring to the role
Experience in a Valuation Services role in an accounting and advisory firm with a focus on client advisory, people management and engagement management.
- Great communication skills
- Advanced valuation and research skills (demonstrated by having at least 4 years’ experience in a dedicated valuations role)
- Advanced report writing skills
- Degree with outstanding academic record from a leading Australian or Overseas university or business school in one or more fields including, Accounting, Management, Commerce, Business or Finance
