Senior Marketing Advisor is an EL1 equivalent role and an initial 12 months contract role.This role will be based in either Sydney or Melbourne and it is expected that you will be working in a hybrid fashion with a min of 2 days per week in the office.Joining an existing and busy team, the
Senior Marketing Advisor will be working with the Marketing and Campaigns Team and will assist with the development of digital channel strategies, executing high profile awareness raising campaigns and developing and implementing integrated marketing strategies.In this role you will lead promotion and marketing strategies to drive awareness; define, measure and evaluate objectives and increase the Public’s understanding of the Department.Working with the Marketing Manager, you will contribute to brand identity, marketing material and communication as well as assisting with EDMs, web content and marketing collateral.Role Functions and Essential Criteria ill include:
- Ability to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies
- Ability to supervise and support direct reports
- High level of communication skills, including editing and developing marketing collateral creative briefs, web copy and social media copy
- Ability to brief and guide the creative process and outcomes
- Working knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools including Google Analytics, Campaign Monitor, or similar
- Experience with Government will be highly regarded
- Experience in technology, safety or gender based policy or online safety would be highly desirable.
This role will also require Australian Citizenship and the ability to get Baseline Clearance as well as proven experience in a similar role in Marketing/Communications.This role will be an initial 12 months contract role paying a daily rate.Applications will close on 27 June and you will be required to address your suitability for this role in max 3000 characters.
