Senior Marketing Manager

Investment Trends is a privately owned company based in Sydney. We develop and deliver independent, deep insights research on behaviours, buying preferences and future needs of investors and intermediaries for the financial services companies that service them across Australia, Asia, the US, UK, and Europe.

From our offices in Sydney and London we work with many of the leading financial services firms to help them achieve a deep understanding of their competitive position and their customers’ needs. We also work with industry regulators to help them shape policy and regulation to protect everyone.

About the role

We’re currently on the lookout for a maternity leave cover, Senior Marketing Manager to join the team on a 9-month maximum term contract. This position will play a crucial role in driving the company's marketing strategies and initiatives. You will report to the Head of Growth and your responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development and implementation of Investment Trends Marketing Plan
• Accountability for brand, media relations, and sales collateral to maximise generation of quality leads across targeted markets and geographies.
• Implement and drive Investment Trend PR strategy across local and international media including developing relationships with journalists and writing media releases.
• Create and maintain company brand assets and other external facing material. E.g. infographics, videos, 1-pagers, social media artwork 
• Lead copy writing to engage external markets across various platforms eg LinkedIn, email, and website.
• Develop and implement communication and release/ launch plans for existing research reports and for new product development.
• Maintain and evolve the social media strategy.
• Planning and executing events and webinars.
• Other marketing activities and design requests as requested.

About You 

• 5 years’ experience in similar role
• University degree in Marketing or related discipline.
• Advanced Office suite – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Skills.
• Experience in Adobe and Canva is desirable. 
• Strong planning and organizational skills, with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and strongly collaborative when part of a team.
