We are looking for a passionate Senior Marketing Manager that will help chart the course for growth. This individual will possess exceptional leadership and a bias for action, they can’t be afraid to dream big or be deterred by a challenge. - Able to express vision for a brand or segment over the long term by developing a strategy that leads or shapes the market. Identifies ideas with strong strategic value.
- Leading the development, implementation and execution of commercial and product marketing strategies and plans to achieve brand growth objectives. This includes, but is not limited to: market analysis, assessment, segmentation, targeting and demand forecasting, product launches, pricing strategies, development of demand generation campaigns and development of sales tools.
- Crafting clear, inspiring, and focused innovation and communications briefs that leads to winning consumer new products and activations
- Leading cross-functional teams to executional excellence in category and customer-facing selling.
- Local brand P&L owner with execution management across stakeholders. Accountable for total results with budget ownership for all A&SP.
- Showcasing and ambitious mindset seeking for disproportionate vs incremental growth
- Stablishing clear priorities with associated KPIs. Embeds performance metrics into the plans. Escalates issues/adapts plans quickly in-response to changing situations (budget, commercial, competitive, etc.)
- Promoting a bias for action where agility is king and done is better than perfect.
- Strong commercial awareness & performance. Accountable for the CX and the business performance across channels.
- Established business priorities and NPD launches, ensuring this strategy is in line with profitability targets and our growth agenda
- Works x-functionally to identify portfolio opportunities (competitive, channel, packaging, claims, etc.). Establishes priorities.
What we look for:
- 7+ years of experience in Brand Marketing and 3+ years within Tier 1 CPG companies
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of ANZ retailer’s landscape
- Proven experience leading teams, managing budgets and delivering P&L metrics
- Hands on and agile mentality. Do a lot with limited resources. Biased for action.
- Clarity of thought through ambiguous situations
- Highly resourceful with a tenacious & positive “can do” attitude.
- Catalyst for change for a more impactful outcome.
- Collaborative, but can hold people accountable for total business impact.
- Prides themselves on knowing the business and our target consumers better than anyone else.
- Commercially savvy. Understands retailers landscape and partners with sales into driving long term category and brand growth
