About the Role
We are currently seeking a Permanent Full-time Senior Master to join our operations here in South-East Queensland. Based out of Cleveland and Redland Bay, this position requires a person who is energetic, motivated, enthusiastic and has the flexibility to meet operational demands to cover shifts when required.
This position provides an opportunity for you to join an award-winning tourism and transport company with an excellent reputation in quality products and professional customer service.
The primary function of the role is to support the operations team with continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence. As Senior Master, you will be responsible for leading vessel and crew standards, supporting crew training and ensuring operational safety and legislative compliance is maintained.
If you are a strong leader, with a high standard of interpersonal and organisational skills, have adept written and verbal communication skills and computer skills and proven safe ship handling and vessel management experience, this role is for you.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience working within fast-paced, dynamic teams; with exceptional leadership skills, vessel-handling ability, knowledge and compliance of legislation and operating procedures, customer service, and a safety focused approach.

Qualifications and Experience
- Master less than 45m Certificate of Competency or higher - Essential
- MED 3 Certificate of Competency or higher
- Relevant previous experience
- Senior First Aid and CPR
- Driver’s License
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
