Salary range: $97,587 - $112,189 per annum, plus 15.4% superannuation

DHA manages one of Australia’s largest national housing portfolios of about 17,000 properties and our properties are located in all states and territories.
About your team
The Communication and Media Team are comprised of energetic and highly motivated individuals. Advisors to both internal and external stakeholders, the team continuously enhance marketing and communication strategies, and media management in support of DHA’s business objectives.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Qualifications or proven experience in media management, journalism, or similar discipline.
- Proven ability to be a trusted media adviser and self-starter, collaborating with business units and leadership to achieve common outcomes.
- Autonomy in managing DHA’s media space. This includes cross-platform media monitoring, crafting media responses and developing positive relationships with external stakeholders e.g. journalists, government departments.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including conflict resolution, managing sensitivities with tailored communication style.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful and strategic messages across various communication channels.
- Demonstrated project management and coordination skills, juggling multiple projects and priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience in managing and coordinating ministerial events.

This role may require occasional interstate travel and is ideally suited for ACT based applicants however, this can be negotiated for the right candidate.
