About You

The reality is that no one comes to a fertility clinic because things are going well. Our patients come to our clinic with a myriad of emotions. The right candidate will naturally make all patients feel welcome, safe, and comfortable in our space. Further to this, we are looking for someone who:

• Has worked in a Medical Administrator role for a minimum of 3 years. 
• Takes pride in their work and conducts themselves in a professional manner.
• Is reliable and resilient. 
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills.
• Takes direction well and can manage changing priorities.
• Can work effectively, autonomously and follow process.  
• Has experience using Genie (attractive but not required).
• Has experience in IVF billing (attractive but not required).
   

About the Role

In this role you’ll be a part of our team based in Fitzroy as well as our Caufield North clinic when required. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be working alongside our clinical team to provide our patients with an expectational health care experience.  You’ll be a member of the Life Fertility Melbourne admin team under the direction of our Clinical Director’s secretary. To meet the needs of the clinic, shifts vary between 7am-3pm, 8.30am – 4.30pm and 9.30pm – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Welcoming all patients to our clinic.
• Patient support.
• Professional communication.
• Phone switch board and email inbox management.
• Triaging patient needs.
• Invoicing and taking payments. 
• Maintaining clinic presentation.
• Patient file maintenance. 
• Provide administrative support to the clinical team. 
• Document management and data entry.
• Diary management. 
• Generating procedure lists. 

All necessary training will be led by Dr Knight's PA.
