Our Rare Earths deposit in Mt Weld, Western Australia, is acknowledged as one of the highest-grade Rare Earth mines in the world. Lynas is expanding the project, has built a new a processing facility in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, to process concentrate from the Mt Weld Mine and Concentration Plant.

The Mt Weld concentrator is looking to expand production to ensure capacity to feed the new Kalgoorlie processing facility. Mt Weld mine is expanding and our recent exploration drilling has only increased our excitement. We are looking for a driven Senior Mine Geologist to join our geology team at Mt Weld.

In this role, you are crucial in providing technical support to the operations. As a highly valued member of the Lynas Mt Weld team, you will: Support the geology and mining departments HSE objectives.

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day mine geology activities including geological mapping, ore mark-ups as well as monitoring ore quality through ore spotting and stockpile management. Assay analysis (using IoGas), ore blocks designs, drill designs, EOM reconciliation, and other projects. Assist with exploration work to discover, expand, and further define the Mt Weld ore body.

Experience with Surpac and Leapfrog essential, grade control and resource modelling experience is desirable. Qualities we value: A motivated individual with a can-do attitude

This is a permanent role with Lynas Rare Earths based at Mt Weld Operation, and offer a family friendly roster of 8 days on 6 days off fly in fly out (FIFO) from Perth.
