Due to this continued growth, they are seeking an motivated Senior Mine Surveyor to join their team. About the role Reporting to the Mining Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for accurate and timely measurements, design set outs, and records of the mine site. This is used as a basis to update the mine plans and support production activity.
In particular, you will be responsible for: Lead process implementation and change within the survey team Conduct open pit mine surveying Provide set outs, pick ups and monitoring Survey compliance to design utilizing both an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Leica GPS equipment Set out-of-control points, pit and stockpile designs, drill patterns, ore markets, and no dig lines. Survey and calculate volumes as requested. Measuring total volumes mined, stockpiled and produced Measuring quantities of blasted material.
End of month surveys, volumes, reconciliations and reporting Assist the mining team to maintain accurate plans for the mine site and associated infrastructure. Skills and Experiences required WA Authorised Mine Surveyor’s Certificate. A degree or diploma in Mine Surveying is acceptable to gain an Authorised Mine Surveyor’s Certificate as per the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995.
