Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is based at our Traralgon office in Victoria., your role as a Senior NDT Technician AICIP / API Inspector is part of our inspection team - a team that is experiencing rapid growth. This role is key to the ongoing asset integrity inspection services provided to our key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements.
- Preparing inspection work scopes including any NDT required, review the equipment history and review all findings.
- Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements.
- Performing inspections and quality reviews as required by the applicable code and client requirements for pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- AICIP (preferred) or API 510 Certification (minimum)
- API 653 (highly desirable)
- NDT Certifications (AINDT)
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment.
- Working knowledge and experience in relevant industry (mining refinery resources) with exposure to heavy industrial/process/mining plant
