Job Description: We are seeking a skilled BASE 10 Senior Security Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Install and configure electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct system inspections, testing, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with electronic security systems, both on-site and remotely.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide training and support to clients on using and maintaining electronic security systems effectively.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to continuously improve service offerings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining electronic security systems, preferably with Gallagher, Milestone, FLIR & Genetec products.
- Strong understanding of electronic security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
