We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Network Administration, AlgoSec, and Firewall Administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and managing network security policies, with a focus on leveraging AlgoSec automation capabilities to streamline operations and enhance security posture. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively train and mentor team members in best practices for firewall rule set development and AlgoSec automation.What you'll be doing
Design, implement, and maintain network security policies across the organization's infrastructure using AlgoSec's platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security requirements and develop effective firewall rule sets that align with business objectives.
Lead the deployment and configuration of firewall devices, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to security policies.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in troubleshooting network security issues and implementing remediation measures.
Develop and deliver training programs to educate team members on best practices for firewall administration and AlgoSec automation.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to network security and AlgoSec solutions.
More about you
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration and firewall administration roles.
Proven experience with AlgoSec platform, including policy management, analysis, and automation.
Strong understanding of firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, etc.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement complex firewall rule sets based on security requirements and industry best practices.
Experience in training and mentoring team members on network security concepts and AlgoSec automation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
