Senior Network Engineer // Transport Infrastructure

Talent is partnering with our transport client to find a Senior Network Engineer to support and maintain vital transport networks, ensuring their reliability and security.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network solutions, focusing on efficiency and automation
• Support day-to-day network operations and troubleshoot issues
• Develop recommendations for network improvements, prioritizing availability and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies (Routers, Wireless, Switches, Nexus)
• Experience in ITIL environments
• Knowledge of advanced networking protocols such as VXLAN, OSPF, BGP
• Familiarity with Industrial Control Systems and SCADA
• Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, etc.
• Certifications in Cisco, Check Point, and/or Palo Alto (CCIE preferred)

Terms:

• Initial 9-month contract with strong potential to convert to permanent or extend
• Paying between $800-1000 per day
