Kmart is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Network Planner to contribute strategically to the ongoing development of our Group network across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of optimizing the physical store network through an omni-channel lens, utilizing data to make informed decisions on store renewals, closures and identifying new locations for expansion.

What you’ll be doing:
As a Senior Network Planner, you will:
• Conduct comprehensive analysis and provide insightful recommendations to enhance strategic business decisions related to the store network including market dynamics across the Group
• Provide sales, impact and sales-transfer based market assessments for all network opportunities such as downsizes, closures, replacements, and the opening of new stores, for both Kmart and Target brands
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive approach in aligning network decisions with broader business objectives
• Translating complex data and research findings into actionable insights that will guide the implementation of effective strategies for optimal network performance
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Experience within a Site Research or Network Planning team preferably within a large retailer or specialty retail /property
• Experience using Mapinfo or ArcGIS for retail analysis and forecasting would be an essential requirement in this role
• Advanced numerical proficiency including strong analytical capability
• Experience using a variety of retail sales forecasting techniques
• Ability to provide independent advice on all network and site-specific issues
• Strong skills in presenting to senior forums
• BI experience would be highly regarded
