Who we need
There is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer that has experience working in an IT Managed Service Provider environment to join our team. Reporting directly into the Service Delivery Manager, the right person will need to:
- Demonstrate a detail-oriented and proactive approach to project delivery coupled with
- Best in class customer service skills to deliver and manage solutions for our clients

- MSP experience: Must have worked in an MSP environment supporting multiple clients.
- Problem Solver: you are energised by solving business challenges with technology.
- Customer’s greatest fan: demonstrate a thirst for better understanding of the customer. Defines the problem and develop solutions through their eyes.
- Troubleshooting expert: you get a buzz out of getting to the root cause of problems.
- Have an eye for detail: You recognise that one mistake could derail the project hence you communicate and document like lives depend on it
- Team player: You recognise and value the different perspectives and skills your team mates bring. It is not about being a hero but jumping in and contributing to the successful delivery of our mission
- Continuous improvement junkie: You constructively challenge the status quo, look for better ways to do things and passionately advocate continuous improvement
- Networking guru: You can do subnet calculations in your sleep and can recall the OSI model backwards
- Experienced: You have successfully delivered ICT projects for minimum 2 years and worked within ICT technical service delivery for minimum 5,
Skills:
- Proficiency in solution design, installation and on-going support
- Technologies:
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Teams Voice and Office 365
- Network Security: FortiGate being the priority, Palo Alto, Sophos (min. f/w and NAT rules, IPSEC tunnels; desired BGP and SDWAN)
- Switching: Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, Dell, HPE/Aruba (min. VLANs, STP, LACP)
- Virtualisation: VMware ESXi 7.0+
- Wireless: Fortinet WLC-SD/Meru Networks or Ruckus
We would also really like it (but can live without):
- You thought getting Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4+ and VMware VCP certified was cool, so you did it and kept it current
- Some of the MSP platforms you mastered included Autotask, SolarwindsN-Able and Auvik
