Senior Officer, Epmo

This role is ideally suited to a candidate that has knowledge of multiple project management specialisations. A proven knowledge and experience in enterprise level PMO functions and/or project level PM/PMO functions is required. This role forms a foundational pillar of expert knowledge within the EPMO team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of EPMO services across the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), including the delivery of Advisory, Learning and Development and support for project management tools, inclusive of the Project Management Framework and communities of practice.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in project coordination and delivery and/or experience in applying structured project management methods. Excellent knowledge of project management principles, the project lifecycle, and project delivery within a government context.
• PMO/EPMO experience highly regarded (particularly from within government).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate project management information to non-technical audiences and adjusting communication styes and approaches as appropriate.
• A project management qualification is required this role. A degree qualification in areas such as Business, Commerce or Human Resources will be highly regarded.
• Similar experience within a government organisation is desirable.

These are ongoing positions. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
