Address The SOM role connects with judiciary and court stakeholders to provide quality administrative support as well as tailored services for vulnerable people involved in the criminal justice system. The SOM role also has state-wide and region-wide involvement through internal networks including the Court Practice Group (CPG) and the Regional Practice Network (RPN).As part of the regional leadership group, and in collaboration with colleagues across the state, the SOM will contribute to the translation of CSQ's strategic and operational initiatives into practical packages of work and contribute to organisational outcomes within the region and across the state.Key responsibilities- As part of the regional leadership team actively contribute to the delivery of CSQ and regional goals- Lead registrars in the delivery of justice services, in line with relevant legislation, policies and delegated authority, ensuring adherence to ethical decision-making principles and standards- Develop an operating environment that leads to excellence in registry practice and a culture of continuous improvement- Operationalise packages of work and leverage opportunities for improvement, developing implementation plans that guide registrars to deliver the required outcomes- Lead, mentor and motivate dispersed teams, fostering a cooperative working environment, monitoring staff performance, providing fair and regular feedback on performance- Grow the capability of registry staff, ensuring they have the skills to perform competently and professionally- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with peers, the judiciary and stakeholders to deliver business efficiencies and improved court services- Role model contemporary leadership and strive for personal growth

Mandatory Qualifications, Conditions and RequirementsWhile there are no mandatory qualifications for this role:- Legal experience is not essential, however experience in a justice environment would be beneficial- Qualification as a Justice of the Peace is desirable- Demonstrated experience in high level and fast paced operational environments will be highly regarded- A current drivers licence is desirable
