About the Role
As a Change Management Specialist within Australia's dynamic insurance M&A landscape, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding organisational transitions. Your main focus will be on ensuring smooth integration and transformation across various stakeholders, aligning with strategic goals and enhancing operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand and address their unique needs.
- Overseeing the program passing multiple projects within the insurance M&A portfolio.
- Developing a comprehensive program plan with key milestones and timelines.
- Collaborating with leadership to develop a Organisational Change management strategy aligned with M&A objectives.
- Contributing to integration plans for people, processes, and systems.
- Analysing interdependencies among projects and creating visual maps.
- Defining clear roles and responsibilities for team members.
- Crafting clear communication plans to articulate the vision and goals of M&A transactions.
- Serving as an advocate for change and fostering a positive organisational culture.
- Encouraging collaboration and open communication among teams.
- Facilitating meetings to address challenges and promote collaboration.
- Establishing KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives.
- Regularly assessing progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Implementing a reporting structure to provide updates on program status.
- Conducting post-implementation reviews to gather feedback and improve future initiatives.
- Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans.
- Establishing a governance framework for compliance and issue resolution.
- Working closely with project managers to address challenges promptly.
- Allocating resources effectively and addressing potential bottlenecks.
- Identifying skill gaps and implementing training programs.
- Promoting a cohesive organisational culture and inclusivity.
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in Organisational Change management with a focus on the insurance sector.
- Strong leadership and management skills including demonstrated ability to lead Organisational Change in a complex stakeholder organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in proactively leading and engaging stakeholders in organisational and cultural change processes, being responsive, and delivering on strategic intent.
- Proven ability to guide, educate and support senior leadership and line managers to lead change programs, engage employees and achieve key objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated experience in the development of a range of change and communication materials and business documentation including reports, briefs, and plans.
- High level organisational skills with a proven record for achieving business outcomes working as a part of a team under tight timeframes - plan, schedule, monitor, report on work packages.
- Highly developed problem-solving skills which demonstrate the ability to provide recommendations to address complex workplace issues.
