As part of the HR team, this role will work across a broad range of interesting, complex and often ground breaking initiatives across News Corp Australia. Working closely with the broader HR team, as well as project teams, key stakeholders, SMEs and a broad range of operational teams and functions, you will support the delivery of structural, operating model, people, systems and process changes that will enable the organisation to continue to deliver on its purpose and strategy.This is a hands-on role with a wide remit and high visibility. It requires a self-starter willing to drive structured change management into the business and take ownership to ensure successful implementation.What's the role?Lead the design and delivery of change management strategies for large, complex and cross-functional programsUse appropriate change management methodologies to assess, plan, communicate, implement and embed business change initiativesCreate a change management plan that addresses key business impacts and incorporates change strategy, impact assessment, training, communication, business readiness and leadership alignment.Assess people impact of changes and ensure appropriate sequencing and roll out of changes across the business.Identify and manage change impacts, risks, issues and interdependencies and ensure mitigations/change interventions are planned.Recommend and ensure appropriate communications for the project, taking into consideration the scope, timing and dependencies of initiatives.Work closely with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plans and ensure dependencies are identified and closely managedCollaborate with learning & development teams to ensure appropriate knowledge & training documentation is prepared and delivered.Ensure a post implementation support plan including clear escalation paths exist to be able to quickly react to any unforeseen issues.Act as a trusted advisor and coach for senior business leaders to help them fulfil their role as change sponsor.Who are you?5-7 years of experience delivering transformational change management in large, cross-functional, complex environments with high volumes of stakeholdersParticular expertise in delivering structural/organisation design, people and cultural transformation initiatives.A critical thinker and natural collaborator with the ability to connect the dots and identify solutions.Good attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions and insights from data.
