The Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, this role is responsible for managing the payroll across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Streamlining the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring seamless coordination of required documents;
Efficient management of separation activities for departing employees;
Proactive maintenance and updates of master files to uphold accuracy and relevance;
Proficient handling of leave management through Kronos and ConnX systems;
Precise execution of weekly and monthly payroll processing using MicrOpay; and
Timely and comprehensive month-end reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
The Successful Candidate
Within the context of the role described, the ideal applicant will be someone who has the following expertise:
Bachelor's Degree and/or post graduate qualifications in Finance;
3-5 years of experience in full-function payroll;
Experience with Micropay;
Attention to detail, high standard of accuracy and ability to spot errors; and
Self-driven with a desire and passion to learn.
