The Opportunity
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to create a work-life pattern that works for your situation. You can choose to work full time or part time as you wish.
Working as part of a collaborative HR & Payroll team, the primary purpose of this value adding role is to perform end to end payroll in a diverse project delivery environment.
Your duties will include:
- End to end payroll processing for approx. 700 employees (fortnightly and monthly payrolls) accurately and on time
- Month end reconciliation of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and other deductions
- Managing new starter set ups, termination processes and leave approvals
- Responsible for responding to employee payroll queries with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring queries are addressed and closed out in a timely manner
- Follow system process standards and provide ad hoc support to other team members where required.
About You
The key to succeed in this detail oriented, impactful role is your collaborative, friendly and proactive attitude. We are looking for:
- Background in end-to-end payroll in a medium to large size business
- Proven experience with end of month reconciliations tasks, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax and other deductions
- Experience with Pivot tables and V look ups in Excel
- A customer service focused mindset, where developing and maintaining relationships is just as important as delivering a timely and accurate payroll
Extra things we value
- Tertiary qualification in Payroll or Accounting (desirable)
- Experience managing a diverse, project delivery payroll (desirable)
- Experience using ADP (desirable)
