About the roleThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join Sydney Water's busy Payroll team and assist in the processing of all Payroll-related functions, ensuring all legislative and EBA compliances are adhered to. Your duties will involve:Processing all payroll-related activities pertaining to new starters, staff movements, and staff exitsSuperannuation - process default and choice superannuation setup; ensure all staff have a super setup and contribution with each payrun; understand the principles of superannuation capping.Deductions - process all deduction changes, union, child support and garnishees etc.Salary Packaging - Understand the components of Salary Packaging, Novated leasing, superannuation etc.Pay Queries - respond to payroll queries from staff in a timely and effective way; refer complex queries to Payroll Manager for guidance.About youThis role will suit someone who has demonstrated expertise working in a Payroll Officer function.
