Senior Performance Analyst

• Full-time temporary opportunity until January 2025

About the role
The Corporate Planning & Performance team within the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to coordinate consultative processes to capture, analyse and report on performance against agreed targets and criteria. In this role you will:

• Have the opportunity to work across all groups in the DRNSW portfolio
• Analyse strategic and operational performance to give insights and advice to various stakeholders in line with established targets
• Develop and maintain relevant performance metrics specific to different functional areas across the DRNSW portfolio
• Provide advice to stakeholders on planning, performance, business analysis and improvement opportunities
• Champion initiatives to improve business processes

Support corporate reporting and advice to the Executive, Treasury, Premier's Department, the Cabinet Office and others as required.
We are looking for:

• Demonstrated experience working within an Analyst role or another relevant area reviewing data and performance metrics to provide advice
• An ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with a business partnering approach
• Experience with data, Advanced Excel, Power BI or other systems, or a strong ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong time-management skills to provide accurate reporting and advice with conflicting priorities
