About the role
The Corporate Planning & Performance team within the Department of Regional NSW (DRNSW) is seeking a Senior Performance Analyst to coordinate consultative processes to capture, analyse and report on performance against agreed targets and criteria. In this role you will:
- Have the opportunity to work across all groups in the DRNSW portfolio
- Analyse strategic and operational performance to give insights and advice to various stakeholders in line with established targets
- Develop and maintain relevant performance metrics specific to different functional areas across the DRNSW portfolio
- Provide advice to stakeholders on planning, performance, business analysis and improvement opportunities
- Champion initiatives to improve business processes
We are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience working within an Analyst role or another relevant area reviewing data and performance metrics to provide advice
- An ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with a business partnering approach
- Experience with data, Advanced Excel, Power BI or other systems, or a strong ability to learn new systems quickly
- Strong time-management skills to provide accurate reporting and advice with conflicting priorities
