Overview
The Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being South Australia's largest maternity and obstetric service, and statewide Maternal Fetal Medicine service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.
The Physiotherapy service provides high-level physiotherapy assessment, advice and management for patients of the Women's and Children's Health Network. The department has a Women's Health unit and three clinical units within paediatrics: Respiratory, Orthopaedic and Neurodevelopmental.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists within the Respiratory Physiotherapy Unit for a SeniorPhysiotherapist, Critical Care (AHP3) to join us.
Role Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate clinical leadership in the provision of specialised evidence-based physiotherapy services to Paediatric Critical Care.
- Provide high quality service to patients in a high acuity, high pressure environment.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy services provided within WCHN.
- Maintain a clinical caseload while providing professional/clinical supervision to Physiotherapy staff.
- Provide a high level of clinical education to Physiotherapy staff and Allied Health Assistant staff.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Degree or other qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
- Extensive paediatric cardiorespiratory physiotherapy clinical experience in an acute health setting and/or in a Critical Care environment.
- Demonstrated specialised knowledge of paediatric conditions and their management in an acute or Critical Care setting.
- Demonstrated high level ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Capability to work autonomously to balance competing demands and priorities, demonstrating resilience, composure, and resolve.
