Job description

This is a recruitment pool for permanent full time, permanent part time, fixed term full time, and fixed term part time appointments, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/10/2025.

We currently have up to 4 FTE available to appoint to permanently from June / July 2024.

The Senior Physiotherapist works as part of a multidisciplinary team plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Physiotherapy services using advanced Physiotherapy clinical practice skills. This position plans, implements and evaluates patient safety and quality of care. This position practices as a Senior Physiotherapist and ensures practice is in accordance to the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Code of Conduct, the Physiotherapy Board of Australia Registration Standards and SMHS policies and guidelines.

  • The initial focus of this role will be to prepare and facilitate the transition of Peel Health Campus from Ramsay Health Care to WA Health.
  • This role will be based across both office locations - Myaree and Mandurah until August 2024, then at Peel Health Campus after August 2024

Are you eligible? To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector is essential that you are an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
