Reporting into the Head of Product, you will lead and develop the Merchandise Planning function.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Senior Merchandise Planner or 3-5+ years in a Planning role
- Experience with wholesale and 3PL is desirable
- Analytically inclined and data-led, apply data insights, research and findings to the overall strategy
- A strong collaborator with the ability to build strong team connections
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Agile and positive, team player
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and maintenance of OTB
- Build and lead strategies that launch the brand globally
- Develop and deliver merchandise strategies
- Lead and work alongside a Merchandise Analyst to analyse and present post-season
OTB to the wider-product team - Lead and oversee company-wide inventory analysis and structure inline with business goals and budgets
- Build balanced assortment plans
- Monitor aged inventory
- Implement strategies to ensure aged inventory aligns with business objectives
- Analyse and prepare markdown strategy recommendations and monitor
performance closely - Develop pricing and budgeting strategies
- Identify opportunities and risks and propose action plans to mitigate those
- Complete monthly post seasonal reviews in line with critical path
- Mentor and coach a Merchandise Analyst
