About this position
The City of Gosnells Development Services branch is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Planner to join the team. We are looking for a highly competent individual with experience assessing complex planning proposals and to provide guidance to the team. You will also work in collaboration with all stakeholders in the planning process including other internal teams, customers, external agencies, and community members.
Ideally you will have a minimum of five years’ experience in an urban planning role.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
- Passion about positively influencing the built environment.
- Sound statutory planning knowledge and experience.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail, and a desire to learn.
Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Current Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
