The Role
Trenery are searching for a talented Senior Planner to join the Womenswear team, reporting to the Merchandise Manager.
**Please note that this is a 12 month FTC**
Key Responsibilities
- Establish budgets for sales, markdowns, stock, stock turn, margin, purchases and BGP
- In season trade, and review and recommend forward forecasts on sales, markdowns, stock, stock turn, margin, purchases and gross profit for channel(s) within area of responsibility
- Prepare and contribute to seasonal review for channel(s)
- Contribute to the management of the divisional stock holdings
- Ensure availability of key volume lines through item planning tools and effectively working with sourcing and design to ensure on time delivery of goods
- Facilitate the weekly trading meetings by providing analysis and recommendations to achieve sales, gross profit and stock targets
- Help develop the range plan and assist in buying the range
- Work closely with stores to develop store gridding and profiling
- Managing a team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate
- Previous planning experience within an apparel business
- A commercially driven mindset, you will have a proven track record in producing positive results through actively trading a business
- Experience in managing and developing a team
- Excellent stakeholder management relationships as well as strong communication skills.
